I got the pathfinding uper optimized using burst and dots so I said what the heck let's just quickly add some simple touch controls and see how it runs on a "cheap" tablet. We wanted the moving city to also be targetable by the swarm and for it to push units away. This is a very simple 2D raycasting light simulation. I made It temporally update when the restaurant changes. It has no bounces. But it does store dominant light direction for lighting dynamic objects and characters. @@xuanki1 I'm well aware. I'm running a 4090RTX. I'm saying the lighting isn't impressive and could be done even better. Seeing as the RTX remastered intro to this game looks nothing like the gameplay.

@Colonel Stan Yep and the show Bad Batch more or less made this game's story non-canon (although they kind of already did that a long time ago, but Bad Batch puts a nail in it).
@@mrchiledonut Isn't Bad Batch compatible with the story, since it happens afterwards?
@MelvinGundlach Oh, yes, but it's not about the timeline. I wrote that before I found out that they brought back the characters (in Clone Wars, which I didn't watch) and killed off Scorch in Bad Batch, which is disappointing. It wasn't until a few days after I watched Bad Batch's last episode that I realized it, and I was kind of annoyed. I didn't realize Scorch was in it throughout as I had assumed he was some random squad leader and then he got shot off the bridge in the finale. His character was different, it was just the armor that made him identifiable, which I didn't catch onto.

This is great! I am trying to get this working inside of Unity right now and I was wondering if you also got any issues with the "Kinect with MS-SDK" code? I am a fledgling in programming so I don't normally use it so maybe this is obvious to you, but when I import that plugin listed on your GitHub, I get multiple errors about variables like "GUIText" being deprecated and the like. After fixing those compiler errors, it wants to update an API and spits out 40 more! haha Anyhow, many thanks for sharing this publicly! I hope I can get it working :)

i understand you probably have a heatmap to help placement of bodies, but how do you get then mist that supports the shape of the galaxy? like the color in between the stars. is it just a well made particle system?
